Gromit Unleashed
Bristol is currently enjoying a trail of Wallace and Gromit Sculptures, the second time such an event has been arranged in support of The Grand Appeal for Bristol Children's Hospital charity,
This Gromit, on Sion Hill in front of the iconic suspension bridge, is called "The Bristol Hound". According to the web site:
This Bristol babber is proud to be adorned in his favorite Brizzle slang in this bold design, sponsored by Grand Thornton. 'The Bristol Hound' was designed and painted by Bristol-born artist, Zoe Power. The geometric elements represent Bristol's local landmarks and iconic buildings while the hand painted text celebrates the city's one-of-a-kind Bristolian expressions.
