Ewes

My carefully planned day encountered immediate disruption. Unknown to the client, who had suggested this day for the job, shepherds were going to occupy a large part of our survey area with about 200 ewes while they did fank work (marking and dosing for disease prevention),
We worked around it today and the paddock will be free again tomorrow but that amount of sheep kept in a small area for a few hours leave quite a mess and stench behind them.

Extra is an old blacksmith's forge nearby.
