Visitors

We had visitors today and what a delightful afternoon we spent with them. As clickychick and Jerra were close by for a couple of days, trying out their new caravan and awning, we thought it would be a good idea to meet up. So they found their way to our house and we sat and chatted . . . and chatted. The walk we planned did not materialise - far too much to talk about and besides it was a bit hot. A lovely afternoon. Thanks for calling by. Hope the second practice went well. (I took this photo quickly as they were leaving. I was pleased how it turned out and decided to use it - hope they like it, but they probably won't see it until tomorrow.)

A strange day weather-wise. It has been very warm, but little in the way of sun and we even had some rain this morning. Since then we have been covered with a thick blanket of cloud and now at 9pm the sun has appeared and is lighting up the the trees and the hills. We seem to be escaping the really high temperatures affecting the East of the country. But it is all very strange.
