Mortehoe Point
Unaccountably, when we awoke the sea was hidden in the mists and a gentle drizzle was falling. It’s been so long since we saw rain it was almost romantic. So romantic in fact we’d not packed any rain wear! So it was books in the camper until noon when the Sun came out again.
Then a jolly hard walk round Mortehoe and Bull Point lighthouse, with a naughty handful of scrumpy cider at several venues. The dragon back ridge at Mortehoe Point is awesome, albeit broken now by so many people climbing it. Well, one more etc.
Then more walking and down to Lee and the Grampus Inn for more cider. There is a theme... In the evening, Janet cooked some sausages she’d bought from the Camp site shop. Chorizo and Chilli Pepper. Oh my... it’s going to be a hot time in the old camper tonight.
