Cloudy Crosby

I was driving home at 10.30 last night and it was still 22 degrees!! So a rather warm night, a desk fan on as well as our ceiling fan.....woke up in the night feeling chilly, cant magine why ;-)

Today was much cooller, and very overcast, although the forecast was for neither of those things. We had already decided to go towards the coast, as it would be cooller, based on the forecast obviously :-/

We parked up on the front in Crosby, dressed in shorts and teeshirts to be greeted by grey mizzle......but it was still pretty warm, 20 degrees or there abouts.

We walked the full length to the yachting centre, where we had a coffee and sandwich, before taking the same route back.

I snapped away at this and that, but chose this shot of the lovely old houses that run parallel to the seafront. Ive also included hub in extras :-)

We treated ourselves to a "99" from the icecream van, before walking on in the other direction, towards Formby. By the time we got back to the car we had clocked up 22,500 steps, 19.6kms, or 10.1 miles :-0 Needless to say my legs could do with a good massage now!!

We have just had a light tea, Linguine with homemade tomato pasta sauce, with pancetta and king prawns, and a sprinkle of parmesan obviously ;-)

Think I might sleep well tonight :-)
