Dachstein - Five Fingers

Today we went up the high mountain that looks over Obertraun. I went with youngest son and family as Ro who does not have a head for heights stayed at the top of the first cable car rather than venturing on!

At the top we started by eating at the Lodge, where credit cards are accepted, because Little Missy looked so pale!

She soon perked up and we walked slowly to the 5 Fingers, admiring the views of the mountains as we went! By the time we arrived back at the cable car we were really surprised to see Ro come out of the cable car!! He was pleased to see the views, but wouldn’t venture as far as the FF! We went and had an ice cream with A, one of our grandsons! While waiting for all the others to catch up with us!

We looked down on the funicular and walk up to yesterdYs caves! We also watched a number of paragliders take off ! Amazing! I’d love to try that!
