Running for the bus

I had time to take one long exposure (too long, I think - the buildings are too bright) before the bus came. I was impressed by the poppy image on top of Tower 42 (formerly the NatWest Tower) and tried to snap a shot of it. You can just about see it amongst the bright light.

My nose was streaming today, but I was tempted out of the house by the Ansell Adams exhibition at Greenwich. However, it didn't interest me that much when I was in front of all the images. A handful caught the wow factor, but I think someone who is more interested in camera history and technique would have got more out of the exhibition. I felt that the theme of water for which the images were collated was too narrow a subject matter to hold my attention.

Afterwards, Fred and I caught the bus to Covent Garden so Fred could survey the Macs to replace the one that was stolen. He has a few in mind, but is undecided as to which would be the best for him. The Mac he owned - a 17-inch laptop - is no longer made by Apple.
