Beach overnighters?

We went out just before 9, to avoid the heat. Yesterday I flopped when I got home as it had got the better of me. Now hear it’s due to continue into August. The hottest spell since 1961. Doesn’t bear thinking about.

We walked down from the clifftop to the beach which still looked pristine and beautiful. Just a handful of people, and a TINY group of little blue tents.

Had heard people sleep on the beach in the summer. As it was still early presume that’s why the tents were there?

Back home now, after an iced chocolate in Westbourne, and a shop at M&S and Lidl. Fan on and relaxing in the cool breeze
