Espaliered fruit

A day at the Gaasbeek domaine where - for the first time - we visited the museum garden.

This walled garden offers an overview of traditional and often very rare fruit and vegetables species, linked to various ingenious pruning shapes, the so called espaliered fruit. The garden also includes a French garden with its double staircase and panoramic view of the castle.
