What We Do In The Evenings
My Dear Princess & Dear Fellows,
Another Punky picture from Cazza's bed. She sent me this one this morning because Punky was getting bossy. He doesn't like it if she stays in bed too long after I have gone to work.
That is because he has decided it is HIS bed. And he does not share. Once she is up, he gives her a curt, "Thanks!" and then curls into a ball and takes over her duvet.
Cazza went to the optician today. She is seriously considering having Lazik surgery. It has moved on a lot since I had it done 16 years ago. Now they can fix age-related short-sight age AND her astigmatism. AND it only takes 30 seconds.
THIRTY SECONDS.
So she was full of enthusiasm when she got in. Apparently she has "weird shaped eyeballs" and seemed quite proud about it. The only downside is that she is not allowed to wear make-up for 6 weeks afterward.
If you know Cazza at all, you will realise this means she will be a RECLUSE during August/September when she is thinking of doing all this.
The other big news for today is that we watched a tv show called Wellington Paranormal which is sort of a sequel to What We Do In The Shadows. Cazza and me loved that film, and this show is co-written by Jemaine Clement and features the two cops from the film. The tv show is nowhere near as good as the movie (obviously) but we enjoyed it anyway.
And now we're having a bit of a nostalgia moment. I've put on an old episode of Still Game and we're thinking about Scotland. Sigh. I do miss Scottish swearing.
Maybe in a few weeks you'll watch Wellington Paranormal and think of us.
S.
