Boundary
Between natural and man-made.
Taken on the way to football. A closely fought game in which we started a man down and yet scored the first two goals - a couple of long range shots from yours truly. They got back to level by the time our last man arrived and started to dominate. However we kept in contention, making the most of our chances. I scored my third, and our fifth to put us ahead again, but only briefly. In the heat we seemed to be suffering a bit more, maybe the effect of having to cover for the missing player earlier. Still, we kept in contention, including a goal that looked like a carefully worked move at a corner but was actually a combination of fortuitous misplaced passes. We took the lead again when I threaded a pass through to N, who nutmegged his son in the opposing goal. When they equalised the cry went up, 'next goal wins'. A long ball through the middle that I dummied at the last minute so it went through to R to finish and that looked like we'd won. Except, for some reason half their team either hadn't heard the next goal shout, or chose to ignore it. They equalised again, but then, with us already playing on beyond our allotted time, people had to leave to the scores remained tied. Despite scoring three goals, I think the pass to N and the dummy to R gave me more satisfaction.
