Park Avenue

Taken from a taxi on the way to Grand Central Station in NYC--we were headed back home to Northampton.  Not an entirely straightforward trip, however. The train took us to New Haven, and we taxied to nearby Branford, to pick up our car at the home where my son  Adrian celebrated his wedding on June 30th. After a visit with Mary, Dave's mother (see the wedding blip), we drove to Northampton. Though we encountered surprisingly heavy traffic we made it home before the end of the afternoon--feeling almost as if we had gotten off a plane from Europe. A good night's sleep should do us good :)
