Urban Art

I had a busy Saturday doing lots of tasks in the morning and then driving through to Joburg in the afternoon. We decided to go back to China City so that I could buy all the things that I needed to make gifts for the end of the year.

Just before we left there was a huge downpour with thunder, lightening and hail. Luckily we were able to sit at one of the Chinese restaurants and eat a late lunch while the storm died down.

This is when the problem arrived. The roads were flooded by the storm and the highway home was gridlocked. We had to do a lot of turn arounds and drive through the suburbs to get a way home. This meant lots of photos of places I have not seen in many years. I just loved this urban art on an inner city block of flats.

I went to bed quite late as I was determined to complete the gifts I was making. I will Blip them tomorrow!
