Glasses

Highs & lows today. We are in London to do a clearance of my mother-in-laws house. She passed 18 months ago so we knew this was coming but so very difficult seeing a lifetime of possessions being loaded into 2 vans - one deemed ‘saleable’, another basically destined for the tip.

After a hard day of sorting & cleaning we went with my sister-in-law to the local pub for lovely food, wine & beer.

Being someone who frequently forgets their reading glasses and has to get a menu read out, I was delighted to see this jar of spectacles for those with ‘forgotten eyes’.

Oh and we left a washing machine on the drive with a ‘free’ sign and it was gone within 3 hours. No uplift charge required here!
