Cardboard Boat

What a ridiculous idea - building a boat out of cardboard!  However, several teams did exactly that to enter the cardboard boat race as part of the Bristol Harbour Festival this weekend.  My son was a member of one team (shown in my blip) which rowed out to a buoy and back again (nominally 250 metres I seem to recall) - and came first!

Not all the teams were as successful (see extra).

A hot day, and Bristol was very crowded, but it was a great atmosphere and we had a good day.
