After the Show

Out at S's mum's place for a nice, wee concert by the Staffelsee Choir. Unlike their last Christmas concert where I knew none of the Bavarian carols, I knew a few of the songs this time and even found myself humming along to a couple. Nobody complained but I think that's 'cos mostly they were pretty deaf! I'd noticed a bar being set up and there was a grill on the go too but it turned out that was just for the choir. As for the audience, it was a case of 'You'll have had your tea?'
So instead we had beer and chocolate chip cookies with S's mum and discussed the relative merits of trifle, cod roe, tripe and lambs' liver. Never a dull moment!
