Going Back In Time

Another appointment with Paediatrics at the hospital for H this afternoon. I recognised the name of the consultant from her time in the Special Care Baby Unit when she was born prematurely, he’d noticed she was one of his 28 weekers when he kept finding his name in her notes. Although we still have no diagnosis more blood tests have been done and she’s now waiting for an endoscopy to see if that provides any answers.
I’ve been convinced that her odd mix of symptoms are connected, it’s hard to believe she’d be unlucky enough to suffer with so many different things. He’s explained away a few of them today and for the first time I’m having doubts.
