Warm and Sultry

Not my favourite kind of weather, as it saps the energy from you and I do feel so sorry for those of you further south who have suffered this for weeks.  We have a floor standing fan, which was too big to pack in a box, so it was retrieved from the garage and put to good use last night.  That's the first time in many years that we have needed it:-)

No day of rest today, as hoped, though much of it was spent sitting down and on the phone or the computer, so my hip had a rest!  We decided by late afternoon that there was enough for yet another trip to the charity shop in Forfar (it takes electrical items like the coffee percolator and bedside lamps we were discarding).  This view of the Angus Hills and the fields was taken at 60 mph as we raced to the shop before it closed!  

We got home just before a good downpour of rain, which meant that TJ didn't have to get the hose out, much to his relief.  Sorry if there's been no rain where you are:-)
