Fording the Esk

After work, I headed back home to watch the Fording the Esk, followed by the Duck Race.

There was a fair number of horses crossing the river, which was really fun to watch for the hundreds of spectators. The horses then cantered off, heading for a gallop on the beach, before heading back over the ford and back home. I love all this traditions stuff.
