COMMON BLUE
This little butterfly I saw today on the flowers of the Solidago canadensis, just before we were to leave for a swim in the Diemel river.
The morning was misty, but when the sky was blue again, the weather was really hot. So a swim seemed the best thing to do in the afternoon.
While I was swimming I saw the banded demoiselles sitting on a twig and flying around too. The water was pretty cold.
In the extras I show a photo of Piet Hein swimming against the stream.
Tonight I will give first silly hearts to HeartFreak, Doyley22, loisbiz, maura143, and weeflecky. More to come of course. I watch and watch again, but it still is not an easy task to perform.
