Above And Beyond...

Ferndale

I drove to Porth, Rhondda Valley (Wales) to have a catch up with friend Ceri who's a pro photographer and soon to be ex part-time car dealer. Probably his most looked at photo is one sold by English Heritage of Stonehenge which has netted him good royalties for quite a few years!

Afterwards I had a drive around the Rhondda Valley and stopped to take a photo in a side street, Ferndale, and was watched by the gentleman in the photo who generously allowed me to take his portrait after we chatted for a while. Such a typical Welsh photo......runner beans being grown in his front garden; I do like the way it's secured to his bin. A lovely man and so typical of the down to earth way of those who live in The Valleys.
