Pattern

Some tomatoes seem to grow in an incredibly uniform pattern. These are shop-bought ones, and I daresay that the regularity of the arrangement of fruits on the vine has a positive effect on how likely people are to choose them. We had the first few home-grown ones the other day, but it'll be a week or so yet before they start producing properly. The first chilli has ripened - they were a un-named variety bought at a plant sale, so we'll have to do a heat test and see how usable they're going to be.
