Glorious

My wife and I were invited to Three Cliffs Bay, on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales, by our son John and his wife, Amy.

It was John's 30th birthday on Friday and he and Amy were enjoying a birthday weekend camping out.

It was a lovely day in the sun, with some walking, some time on the beach, plus this delicious picnic.

It was such a good day, in fact, that my wife and I stayed well into the evening because we didn't want to leave this idyllic place. We watched the sun get lower, the shadows get longer and the light turn to gold.
