Eating my greens
I'm never quite sure about food blips: sometimes the sight someone's else supper is the last thing you want.
So for those who aren't inclined to move quickly on, I wanted to record how delighted I am to be growing my own stuff again. Partly because I'm no longer working at the cafe two days a a week and partly because I've had help clearing my overgrown (read 'vanished') vegetable patch, I was able to knock up a simple dish of tagliatelle alle verdura involving peas, chard and courgettes straight out of the garden. OK I added a bit of bacon that needing using up but that wasn't essential, it would be just as good without.
I love my vegetables.
