Scones...

...I’ve been hankering after one so baked a few this afternoon.

A gluten free recipe and ended up with a consistency that I scooped into the baking tray with the ice-cream scoop rather than rolling and then cutting them out!

I was a tad dubious. They didn’t look very scone like when I brought them out of the oven but they did taste and smell scone like so to hang how they look.

Wee spot of butter, some raspberry jam and I also made some chantilly cream to accompany them and they were good, even if I do say so myself.

Grateful for a wee scone a nice wee Sunday afternoon treat.
