Remembrance

This picture of my friend Eric Kelly, sits on the piano that was once his.

Eric died several years ago aged 92.
He lived all his life in Manchester apart from the early 1940's when he joined the army and fought in Europe.

Seeing friends shot and killed as they fought beside him and being among the British soldiers who liberated Belsen were horrors that he never forgot.

My friend was a gifted pianist and as well as his piano I am honored to have been left the music he composed and a book of piano music he rescued from a bombed out house in Stuttgart.
