Native American Round Dance

Just two of the many Native Americans who took part in the Mesa PowWow.
It was very colourful and interesting to see the age range of the participants, from old tribal chiefs to under-10s, all taking part in the dancing.
People in the stands were invited to come and join in, and many did.
Among the tribes present were Navajo, Pima and Cherokee and there were stalls selling their traditional crafts.
And as for the Indian Fry Bread - yum!
