Wharf to Wharf Race

46th Annual Race: It's the Best Little Road Race in California!  From Santa Cruz to Capitola, six miles, and I did it in two hours! My goal was simply to finish, so I'm totally thrilled. I wasn't even tempted to run, or even fast-walk. Just set one foot in front of the other til I got to the end, and then I felt I could go even further! That's Mr S with me in the photo. My son and his girlfriend were in it too, and we saw a few friends along the way. Beautiful weather, great views of the ocean almost all the way, and just a splendid day.
