Bee

The bees are now on the buddleia, as the valerian has died off and I cleared it all out today. It has been a very busy day in the garden, with blue skies. I'd cut back a sycamore and silver birch that had got out of hand, down to bush size. Today was chopping the branches. Luckily a bloke from across the road had offered to lend me his two brown bins, which meant I could get all the branches in the bins. So the pile of branches has gone. 

This area used to be part of a wood - until the 1930's when they built the estate. So we still get random trees sprouting up, as there are roots everywhere. Funny how they seem to be able to live like that.
