This bond

Grandparent and grandchild: a fierce and powerful bond, often nurtured in summer when school is out and adventures and travels can occur. I remember summer visits with my own grandparents: a love like no other.

Saturday we had brunch with RavensRoost, as Peg's grandson who lives in Canada is visiting Portland. My own grandchildren are visiting their other grandparents in Arizona.
