Mr & Mrs Bullfinch

I know I post quite a few blips of Bullfinches but even though I see them often I'm still always struck by their beauty;  today you can see what messy eaters they are -  it's so difficult to get a shot without seeing them spilling food all down their chests.  Sometimes I've cleaned up the crumbs from their mouths but sometimes I can't just get it right - today was one of those days.  

Caroline was up to see us this weekend and after she left for home we went out for a quick lunch and then back home and had a walk through the nature reserve.  A great way to spend Sunday.
