Davaar

Day off and for a change we decided to walk across the Dorlinn to Davaar.
We went round to the Doirlinn car park mid morning, parked, and set off across to Davaar island. We had checked the tide times last night and knew we had more than enough time to wander over and back.I had wanted to go round the edge of the island to see the painting in the cave.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't the sunny days we have had of late. There is no path round to the cave so it was a bit of a foreshore scramble. Fergus proved more than able, springing from boulder to boulder and making the whole thing look easy.
We decided not to head to the trig point today.
Later in the afternoon I cleaned my Lloyd Loom chair ready for painting.
