Shield Bug

It's been a while since I visited the National Trust's Uppark House, so that's what I did today.  The main draw for me is the Doll's House (extra), but a new discovery was the Scented Garden which had some glorious smells.  Even better, I spotted this Green Shield Bug among some seed heads - a common insect, but the first time I have actually seen one for real - let alone capture it on [digital] film!
