Our last day in Alice springs today and another hot one. Hugh and I walked through the Todd river (it's currently dried up as aparantly there hasn't been any rain here for 4 months!) and to Olive pink botanic gardens. We began with a little hike up Annie Meyer's hill ("Tharraletneme" Aboriginal name) for some great lookouts. We then had a wander round the gardens where we spotted some interesting desert plants and some kangaroos having a nap in the sun.
