The Finniston Crane and the SSE Hydro

The Finnieston Crane is a disused giant cantilever crane ion the River Clyde. It is no longer in working order, but is retained as a symbol of the city's engineering heritage. It was used for loading cargo on to ships, in particular steam locomotives to be exported around the world.
The SSE Hydro is a multi-purpose indoor arena and officially opened on in 2013 with a concert by Rod Stewart. It is the eighth-busiest music arena in the world in terms of ticket sales.
