Isabelle de Borchgrave

Yesterday we spotted a poster for a paper exhibition, so this morning we jumped in a taxi to go and check it out. It was just amazing - Isabelle de Borchgrave is the artist's name, and she had made these beautiful dresses out of paper. She had divided up the room with very simple, yet very effective, paper panels which made the exhibition even more special. We got to meet her as well which I always find makes it quite personal. We've definitely got some arty ideas for home!

As you will have read on mum's blip, we didn't think much of Brussels but it was a perfect weekend none the less (what with squishy hotel bed, baths, james bond, delicious food, art, museums and generally mooching around, and seeing mum of course!) - makes being stuck here at uni not half as bad!
