Gin 'n' Swing

Tonight's special offered passengers a drink or two with music to set a jolly mood along the way, all retiring to Neuadd Pendre (village hall) where they are seeing the evening out with a swing!  TR volunteer driver, John, has brought his band along for a weekend away.

Jamie and I have enjoyed another relaxing day.  I was in the booking office, learning to drive the computerised system (and being tea boy.)  Jamie took a ride up the line before a family evening meal at the excellent Saltmarsh Kitchen on Tywyn High Street with my Mum, sister, bro-in-law and my local brother.  Ice-creams on the prom at sunset for afters and we tested Jamie's freewheel on the beach ..... great on wet sand, ok going downslope on dry, somewhat more tricky on the way back up :-)
