Oh no, no rain

At least no natural rain. Seems that most of Switzerland has received rain, but the clouds passed south or north of our region. We even saw it raining a few kilometers away on the German side of the lake.
The meteorologist on the radio mentioned that the canton of Thurgau had bad luck again. Looking at next week it's back to sun and some 30 degrees Celsius. Not good news for the nature here.

We decided to give our lawn some water today, before the yellow patches take over everything.

Seems that 2018 is quite extreme regarding the water levels of Lake Constance. In February we had a historical high level (for Feb) since measuring started in 1886 and there were some fears of potential flooding in the months to come. Now we are reaching a historical low for July.
