Gran In Law

My very lovely gran in law turned 90 today, not that you would think she was 90! Molly is as sprightly as ever, still enjoys a good cross word, makes very tasty cakes and still very switched on with all sorts of subjects. She is a wee bit deaf in one ear but that makes for quite amusing conversations!! Her teeth are still her natural teeth and her hair has only just started to go grey!! She is an amazing lady who has an open mind and is never judgemental. She is gran to five and a great granny to four. Molly is Chris’ gran but ultimately she is more than that as she had a big part in Chris’ upbringing and Chris looks upon her as a Mum. Tonight she is going out for a Chinese meal, I just love that she still can!!

We have had a lovely few hours with her and Chris’ dad Gra. Gra had heart surgery a few weeks ago and he is doing incredibly well.

We are now heading back to Hereford where I think we will enjoy a glass of wine / dinner in the garden and get ready for our 20 miler tomorrow
