Windmills In Berlin

Die Britzer Mühle is one of  8 surviving windmills in Berlin. Built in 1865 and known as Stechansche Mühle it functioned until 1936 then ceased until 1985 & the Bundesgartenschau, for which it was restored and reopened for visits. It's also a place where , should the fancy take you you can get married. The above collage shows the mill and the orchard in which it stands. A wonderful sight in the city.
