Everlasting Alstroemeria

This bloom has been on display on our side board for 15 years now without a drop of water being added to the vase.  Look again; even in this rather cruel close up it's not that obvious that this is a bloom made entirely of sugar by our daughter when she was on her bakery and confectionary course all those years ago.
