Firstly, thank you so much for all the love on my wee hellebore yesterday , very appreciative and thrilled.

I'm the caregiver of our neighbours fur children for four days, only a cat and dog. This guy is 13 years old, partially deaf and not very agile.  But he loves cuddles and really does talk to me.  I sat on their terrace this afternoon and gave them both some company - I've won them over, well they know not to  'bite the hand that feeds them'.
A warm afternoon, Doug and I managed a couple of hours in the garden, just cutting back stuff. And my back has survived just.
18° today, that is NOT a mid winter temperature, although we were -3° this morning.
Rugby soon - our Crusaders v The Sharks (Sth Africa) - quarter final game.
