Topping off a lovely day break mainly to get Big R out from under his legal workload ....a drive down Chuckanut Drive....there were several choices of places to go today, and R chose the up north through the Skagit Valley ride again..we love that one so much.  While he requested I drive up Chuckanut I missed it so we caught it on the way back.  
   Big R represents juveniles who need legal help as they cannot afford to hire a private attorney....often they are without a stable home environment and just need some helpful direction....others times they need much much more.  His role is to represent what they want....not the parent or guardian but what their view is. It's usually because they have been or are in the process of being removed from their home....usually they still want to remain with their parents....that drive is a very very strong one no matter what the situation.  At any rate....R
's part time post retirement job has become much much more....today he had no court hearings so it was a good time to escape.  And the hooligans came along and got to have an off leash break too at a dog park up north....all in all a wonderful family time.
