BROKEN!!!

So after yesterday shannigans, sure enough the X-ray as you can shows my daughter has definitely broke her thumb. But it’s not simple break so she needs to have an operation on Monday morning to have pins/screws inserted to fix the bit broken off back to the bone. She didn’t even do much to cause this. She was at kids summer scheme and was already sitting down but lent back to prop herself up and I guess leaned down hard on her hand behind her back at the wrong angle and her thumb ended up underneath the palm of her hand. Wasn’t like she was doing her usual ballet moves, cartwheels or many handstands!!! Her pain threshold was tremendous today, barely a complaint out of her

My poor baby girl, she was so brave today, the A&E nurses even gave her a bravery certificate and a teddy bear as we were leaving.
