Hard to choose today, there were several flowers in the running.

A lovely sunny morning, quite hot. I walked home from coffee at the Tittle Tattle Tea Shop with an unexpected bag of goodies. It was the last one for a while so the Charity stall goods were being sold off for half price. Can't resist jigsaws and books, got a couple of cards too.

Had a quick view around the garden in the last of the sun for a Flower Friday blip. I was lucky as it clouded over almost immediately after and we soon had rain. I've chosen this Alexander rose. It is the replacement rose we bought a couple of years ago when our original, bought for our son sadly died. It's not as big and sturdy as the original year but it's coming on and has lovely bright blooms.

I chose this as the centre is catching the last of today's sun.

Have to go out in the rain shortly to attend the wake of an ex colleague (my ex line manager) not the best start to the weekend.
