Snow - finally!

Woke up to a good covering of snow today. So exciting and lovely to see, but not so nice to drive to work in! All morning the phone rang with folk cancelling their appointments, and other folk with toothache desperately looking for appointments, so it was quite rewarding!

This afternoon Ollie and I had a good run round the field, frightening geese and him rolling in the snow and chasing snowballs. Great fun - and we got home before the next heavy shower.

Back home I unearthed some blackberries from the deepfreeze and made a blackberry and apple crumble. With a bit of custard it should be just the thing for this weather!
