FRIDAY'S FLOWERS

On my way to the golf club for a hit with Ninniex this afternoon, I snapped this blossom of some sort.  A large tree and I have no idea as to what it might be.  I'm pleased I captured it on the way to golf when it was sunny.
I thought mid July is a little early for blossom.  
By the way, Ninniex and I had a lovely hit......and we're still friends.
