Dramatic backdrop

The guy was trying to go under, but the wave kept rising upward.
Found a seal snoozing on the far left side of Sandy Beach.  It was staked out and looked like it had been there for awhile.
In extra, really liked the water roof and the runoff under his board, before he gets covered completely.


No chick visible  4:15 PM.    Found some additional info here, if you are interested.   Think our chick is gone.   Adults generally return to the same nesting site each year (says the article), so I'll be on the lookout.
