Floaters

This morning I went to my watercolour group then this afternoon went for a walk along the Montgomery Canal.  

It was really hot and humid and I didn't have the energy to walk as far as I'd planned.  The plants had grown really high since I was here a few weeks ago, in fact so high that they were much taller than me (that doesn't take much doing though!)

There were lots of floating plants on the canal and canal side pools. It's a popular place with fishermen but their lines will get tangled if they try it at the moment. It's a good respite for the fish!
