Current Book 7

A slightly different book from normal not least because I paid full price for it.

The Card has just been published and was written by Steve Hill who I know through following Chester.  It tells the story of his quest to watch all Chester's first team games in the 2016/17 season and is complicated by the fact that he lives in North London and has a young family. 

Of course I was present at most of the games so I'm familiar with all the incidents and know virtually everyone he refers to even though most of them go by a pseudonym. To add even more interest I am mentioned by name several times and I can say it is extremely strange to be referenced in a book like this. Thankfully I seem to have got away lightly (so far) and don't come across as completely bonkers which, given the nature and style of writing, is a relief.

It goes without saying that I am thoroughly enjoying the book.
